Cycles of thematic improvement
Postgraduate education of doctors at the Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology began in 2009 and today includes 15 cycles of thematic improvement. (2014 - 3 cycles, 2016 - 5 cycles, 2018 - 9 cycles, 2019 - 15 cycles):

● TI "Modern possibilities of ultrasound diagnostics in the practice of a pediatrician and family doctor"

● TI "Pediatric hematology in the practice of a family doctor"

● TI "Current issues of pediatric pulmonology"

● TI "Pediatric aspects of palliative care"

● TI "Immunoprophylaxis in pediatrics"

More than 150 methodical recommendations for listeners and teachers of courses are developed; more than 60 lectures, which are updated annually in accordance with current WHO recommendations and international standards of diagnosis and treatment.

The department created an information panel on the department's website and used the FB information platform, which presents a list of TI cycles, current protocols for medical care in pediatrics and neonatology, fragments of lecture material and announcements.

Technical teaching aids are used - a multimedia projector and SMART TV.

Visual materials were provided to students of TI cycles and published on information platforms. About 90 doctors of the practical level of health care annually undergo advanced training in cycles of thematic improvement.
